Unlike other organizations where your benefit amounts to little more than your name on a membership list, there is something truly unique about the Michigan Tutorial Association. For one thing, when you become a member you don't belong to MTA-- MTA belongs to you. We encourage you to participate in the annual conference planning activities, and we invite you to contribute articles and conference postings to the association newsletter. We also sponsor you through free conference registration to join colleagues in presenting tutoring ideas and approaches at our annual Connections Conference. Through your membership, these possibilities are yours whether you are a student tutor, professional tutor, faculty member, or tutoring administrator.

Please accept our open invitation to members to participate in our conference planning meetings; place, dates and times may be found on the Calendar.

Please join us as often as you can, and start planning now for this year's Connections Conference.

  • There are two types of membership:
    • Professional Membership is designed for those actively engaged in the administration or general operation of tutorial programs , including counseling and instruction.
    • Tutor Membership is available to all higher education tutors, full or part-time, paid or voluntary.

Print out the application and become a member today.
